Tottenham vs Watford

tottenham vs watford matchweek 32

Tottenham showed they’re made of real steel after coming from behind on the 87th minute to beat Swansea and keep the pressure on Chelsea. With Harry Kane out injured, Dele Alli, Son heung-Min and Christian Eriksen have stepped up, with all three scoring during the victory at the Liberty Stadium. Mauricio Pochettino has no plans to give up the hunt for the Premier League title and still believes his side can catch Chelsea.

Watford, on the other hand, eased their small relegation fears with a comfortable win over West Brom on Tuesday. Goals from M’Baye Niang and Troy Deeney sealed the three points, as the Hornets made his two wins on the bounce. Spurs offer a different challenge to Sunderland and West Brom, but victory can see Watford reach the magic 40-point mark.

John Barnes’ tip: The BonusCodeBets ambassador is backing his former side to suffer a 2-0 defeat at the White Hart Lane with Tottenham on a role at the moment.

Everton vs Leicester

everton vs leicester matchweek 32 2017

Everton have had a week they’d like to forget after suffering the humiliation of losing to Merseyside rivals Liverpool before conceding in the last minute against Manchester United to only earn a point. But it’s been a good season for the Toffees under Ronald Koeman and they still have European aspirations, even if the Champions League is out of their reach. Romelu Lukaku looks to likely to leave in the summer and will back his pace against the strong but slow duo of Robert Huth and Wes Morgan.

Leicester have turned the corner since Craig Shakespeare took the reins following Claudio Ranieri’s surprise sacking and has led them to six wins in a row. The return to form of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez has been pivotal, with the former scoring in three consecutive games. The January signing of Wilfred Ndidi is proving to be shrewd and has formed a solid partnership with Danny Drinkwater.

John Barnes’ tip: John tips Everton to put an end to Leicester’s winning run with a 2-1 victory and see them bounce back from two disappointing results.

Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

crystal palace vs arsenal matchweek 32

Things were starting to look up for Crystal Palace and Sam Allardyce after winning four games on the bounce but defeat during the week saw their survival hopes take a blow. After Christian Benteke put them ahead, Southampton rallied to beat them 3-1, leaving Allardyce seething with the officials’ performance. And things don’t get much easier when they host Arsenal at Selhurst Park, knowing they’re still three wins from the magic 40 points.

Swansea’s late defeat was a boost and they stay just outside the bottom three. For Arsenal, it’s a season to forget with the Champions League beginning to look a little out of their reach despite victory over West Ham. The pressure continues to grow on Arsene Wenger, with fans fighting between themselves, over his continued tenure in charge. It’s still unclear whether he’ll be in charge next season along with fears Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez could also leave the Emirates. But victory at the weekend could see some of the pressure subside, with a top four finish the best they can hope for.

John Barnes’ tip: The Bonus Code Bets ambassador feels this will be a tight affair but Arsenal to collect all three points with a 2-1 win and add to Palace’s relegation fears.
