The Premier League retakes centre stage this weekend following the international break.
Liverpool, Chelsea and surprisingly Watford are the three teams who set the pace at the top. They’ve won all four of their league fixtures to date this season.
Cardiff, Burnley, Huddersfield and Newcastle will be hoping for their first wins. While the likes of West Ham, are yet to secure a point this season.
This weekend’s games are sure to feature a number of goals and who better to guide you through the best bets than two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes – who’s given us his predictions to try and help you win big this weekend.
Tottenham v Liverpool
Unbeaten Liverpool travels to Wembley looking to cement their place at the top of the table. With nine goals scored and just one conceded, the Reds look the real deal.
Away wins against Crystal Palace and Leicester show Mo Salah and Co can find form both at Anfield and away. This will certainly buoy them ahead of the game.
Tottenham, who are still playing at the national stadium as their new ground continues to be developed, suffered defeat against Watford before the international break.
However, prior to that, they beat Manchester United by three goals at Old Trafford. They also notched three at home to Fulham on the opening game of the season.
John Barnes’ tip: Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool. The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects the goals to flow this weekend. The former Liverpool man is expecting a narrow win for his former club.
Watford v Manchester United
Tipped for relegation by some pundits, Watford has been this season’s surprise package. They earned maximum points against Brighton, Burnley, Crystal Palace and Tottenham.
Roberto Pereyra has scored three of their nine goals so far this season. Troy Deeney chipped in with two as the Watford fans dream of pulling off a Leicester-style shock title run.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has endured a difficult start to the season, with many fans turning on him following defeats against Brighton and Tottenham.
The Red Devils shipped six goals in those two losses but did manage to stop the rot last time out when beating Burnley 2-0 thanks to a Romelu Lukaku brace.
John Barnes’ tip: Watford 1-1 Manchester United. The BonusCodeBets ambassador knows Mourinho can’t afford to lose this one, but thinks his in-form former side Watford will bag a point.
Everton v West Ham
West Ham is proof that spending money doesn’t necessarily get you points, having lost all four of their games so far this season despite spending in excess of £100million.
The London side has faced tricky tasks in the form of Liverpool and Arsenal. However, they have also been beaten at home against the likes of Bournemouth and Wolves.
A trip to Everton will be no easy task for Manuel Pellegrini’s charges as they look to get off the mark against a side who are unbeaten so far this season with three draws and a win.
That victory came at home against Southampton and Everton will be hoping to replicate last season’s 4-0 victory against West Ham, despite the absence of suspended Richarlison.
John Barnes’ tip: Everton 3-1 West Ham. The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks West Ham could suffer a fifth defeat of the season, with Everton hitting three goals.
