This weekend we’ll guide you through the best bets for some Premier League matches. Two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes – has given us his predictions to help you win big this weekend.
Manchester City v Manchester United
Manchester City sits a comfortable nine points ahead of Manchester United in the Premier League, a similar gap to when the two teams met last season for the first time, where City boasted an eight-point lead over their rivals in mid-December.
By contrast, it’s only November and Manchester United’s slow start has left them chasing the frontrunners early on in the competition.
Marcus Rashford’s injury time winner against Bournemouth last weekend took the heat off a less than dominant display as Eddie Howe’s men harried and hassled their visitors all afternoon – they were unlucky not to take all three points, let alone finish with nothing.
City welcomed Bournemouth’s south-coast rivals Southampton to the Etihad last weekend and their performance was nothing if not dominant. Raheem Sterling stole the show with two goals and two assists in a 6-1 victory, but it was also City’s first goal conceded in six competitive fixtures. Defeat would be a disaster for Jose Mourinho, but it’s looking the most likely outcome.
John Barnes’ tip: Manchester City 3-1 Manchester United

Chelsea v Everton
Everton has found their feet recently and has now won three of their last four Premier League games. Richarlison got his fifth and sixth goals in Toffee’s colours as they ran out 3-1 winners against Brighton last weekend.
Despite this, Everton has gone five competitive meetings with Chelsea without recording a win, their last triumph coming in 2016 when they beat Guus Hiddink’s Blues in the FA Cup to reach the semi-finals.
Chelsea maintained their unbeaten run against Crystal Palace and will be buoyed by Eden Hazard’s return to fitness. The Belgian has seven goals and four assists in the Premier League. He is tied on 11 with Sterling and Sergio Aguero for most goals directly involved.
John Barnes’ tip: Chelsea 2-1 Everton

Liverpool v Fulham
Liverpool’s Champions League defeat by Red Star Belgrade in midweek has taken the gloss off their unbeaten Premier League start.
Despite the defeat, Jurgen Klopp has rubbished claims that the Reds have ‘lost their mojo’. But he agreed that their European performances must improve should they wish to progress to the knock-out stages.
Another defeat for Fulham has seen them drop to the foot of the league table. A trip to Anfield will be one of the least favourable tests to try to claw their way out of a rut.
Klopp and Co will be fired up and determined to get back to winning ways. A tough test looms for Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
John Barnes’ tip: Liverpool 3-0 Fulham
The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks Liverpool will record a resounding win.
