Premier League Tips 19/20 – Matchweek 18

For many, the best bit about Christmas is the number of football fixtures spread throughout the festive period and there will be more than a few people hoping for the gift of three points.

Regardless of whether you’re fighting for the title at the top or for your lives down at the bottom of the table, there are sure to be a few crackers this weekend as we welcome the Premier League back. This weekend we’ll guide you through the best betting offer for Premier League matches. Two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes – has given us his predictions to help you win big this weekend.

Everton v Arsenal

Manchester City have been a little underwhelming this season but they still had enough to breeze past Arsenal last time out, leaving the Gunners in 10th in the table ahead of game week 18th.

With a new manager on the horizon, the north London side will be looking to pick up three points away from home for just the second time in seven matches following a win against West Ham.

Everton are also on the hunt for a new boss. Though interim gaffer Duncan Ferguson has secured four points from a possible six having drawn against Manchester United and beaten Chelsea.

John Barnes’ tip: Everton 1-1 Arsenal

The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects the spoils to be shared at Goodison.

Manchester City v Leicester

With Liverpool’s game against West Ham rearranged for their FIFA World Cup challenge, both Manchester City and Leicester have a chance to close the gap on the runaway league leaders.

The Foxes will arrive disappointed that they aren’t a further two points clear of the Citizens having stuttered to a 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Norwich at the King Power Stadium.

City on the other hand cruised past Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium with little fuss and will see this as the ideal chance to ramp up the pressure on Jurgen Klopp and Co while they are abroad.

John Barnes’ tip: Manchester City 2-1 Leicester

The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks the Foxes will fall behind in the race for the title.

Tottenham v Chelsea

Many Tottenham fans were left fuming when manager Mauricio Pochettino was relieved of his duties and replaced by former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

However, he has quickly won over the fan base having qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League and lifted his side to fifth and will be dreaming of beating Chelsea this weekend.

The Blues arrive in north London on the back of a little wobble following recent defeats by both West Ham and Bournemouth at home as well as struggling Everton away and a win is needed.

John Barnes’ tip: Tottenham 2-1 Chelsea

The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks north London will hold bragging rights come full time.
