This weekend we’ll guide you through the best bets for Premier League matches. Two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes – has given us his predictions to help you win big this weekend.
West Ham v Arsenal
Both London sides enter this one looking settled after a change of management in the summer. Although on good form, West Ham have a terrible record against Arsenal in recent years, with just one win against the Gunners since 2007.
With Marko Arnautovic back from injury, the Hammers look a much stronger outfit and readily dispatched of Birmingham in the FA Cup last weekend. On top of this, a shrewd bit of business in securing Samir Nasri on a free transfer should also benefit West Ham, allowing Manuel Pellegrini to rotate his side in some upcoming fixtures.
Arsenal face a tough task of getting into the top four with Manchester United now hot on their heels. An away win for Unai Emery’s men here would be a big result and with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on form, the Gunners should get plenty of chances to score.
John Barnes’ tip: West Ham 1-1 Arsenal
The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects the two sides to share the spoils at the London Stadium.
Chelsea v Newcastle
Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle side have performed fairly well away from home this season but will face a tough challenge in the shape of a Chelsea side looking to secure a top four spot.
Chelsea can beat any team on their day, but it is often their inconsistencies against the lesser sides which prove to be their downfall. Their last home match in the league saw them draw against strugglers Southampton and Mauricio Sarri will hope for a major improvement in this match.
Newcastle sit 15th, just two points above the relegation zone, and Benitez himself said he believes it would be a miracle if his side stayed up. Any sort of result here, including a draw, would be valuable points gained for the Magpies.
John Barnes’ tip: Chelsea 2-0 Newcastle
The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects the home side to be too strong here.
Tottenham v Manchester United
One could argue it’s been an easy ride for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer since he took the helm at Manchester United, but here he faces his toughest test to date against a Tottenham side firing on all cylinders.
With five wins in five, Solskjaer’s men will come into this match full of confidence and now Paul Pogba is enjoying his football again, the Red Devils are still within a good chance of getting into the top four places this season.
However, Spurs are flying at the moment with 22 goals in their last five games. A 3-0 win at Old Trafford the last time these two teams met will give the travelling side a boost, but they may not have it all their own way against this rejuvenated United side.
John Barnes’ tip: Tottenham 2-1 Manchester Utd
The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects a closely fought battle.
