This weekend we’ll guide you through the best bets for Premier League matches. Two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes – has given us his predictions to help you win big this weekend. A page dedicated to the betting offers for the Premier League is also available in this site.
Manchester City v Chelsea
Manchester City went top of the league in midweek after their win at Everton and Pep Guardiola’s men have the advantage over league rivals Liverpool having had the experience of winning the Premier League last season.
Chelsea won 5-0 last weekend against Huddersfield but they’re facing a much tougher team this time round. Saying that, a 2-0 win against the Citizens earlier in the year should give Mauricio Sarri and his men confidence to try and get a similar result.
A dominant performance for Manchester City put them top of the table and you wouldn’t want to back against them from winning the league. Barring one defeat by Crystal Palace, City have been imperious at home and despite strong opposition, they’ll fancy themselves against Chelsea.
John Barnes’ tip: Manchester City 3-1 Chelsea
The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks Manchester City will be too strong for the visitors.
Spurs v Leicester
Just five points separate Tottenham and league leaders Manchester City, and Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to ensure his side quash claims suggesting it’s a two-horse race for the title.
Leicester are winless in five but can take confidence in their narrow defeat by Manchester United and their draw with Liverpool prior to that. A 5-4 victory saw Tottenham win this fixture last season and anything similar to that could make this game a spectacle.
However, Spurs have been winning ugly lately with their last three goals all coming after 80 minutes. But with Son Heung-Min back in the side, Tottenham look a much better outfit. The South Korean has 14 goals to his name this season and he’ll play a huge part in this match.
Claude Puel has come under a lot of pressure recently but his persistence with sticking to playing a young side should be admired. They’ll go in underdogs for this match but their record against the top six this season reads well so they’ve got every chance of picking up some points.
John Barnes’ tip:Spurs 2-1 Leicester
The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks the home side will take a narrow victory.
Brighton v Burnley
This game involves two defensive-minded teams whose meetings between them have seen five draws in their last six matches, including three 0-0 draws. Brighton have slightly outperformed their opponents this season with four positions separating the sides. However, a win for Burnley would see them level on points with Brighton.
Brighton haven’t won in the league since December and another defeat could put the Seagulls in the frame for a relegation fight. They were unlucky not to win against Watford and given their strong home form, they’ll head into this match favourites.
Burnley have improved since their terrible start to the season, but the Clarets remain a danger for relegation. A draw at Manchester United was a great result for Burnley but the two draws either side against Watford and Southampton were winnable opportunities for Sean Dyche’s men and they’ll need to start picking up more wins if they’re to stay up.
John Barnes’ tip: Brighton 1-1 Burnley
The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks the sides will share the spoils.
