We are set to see how the Premier League’s inaugural winter break has affected teams up and down the league this weekend as we return to a more regular fixture schedule. It all starts on Saturday with a lunchtime London derby to devour.

Two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes has given us his predictions to help you along this weekend. Not only tips, but also betting offers are available for the Premier League.

Chelsea v Tottenham

Just when Tottenham appeared to be gaining some momentum, they were dealt a real blow. Already suffering from a spate of injuries, Son Heung-min was then added to their list of casualties, but there’s nothing like a London derby to motivate a squad.

Chelsea will also be more than up for the challenge, knowing that if they lose they will be leapfrogged by their opponents in the Premier League table and could potentially end this match week in seventh place should Manchester United and Sheffield United take all three points.

With a familiar face in the away dugout and a place in the top four at stake here for both sides, we could be set for an exciting but tight game.

John Barnes’ prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal v Everton

Sunday afternoon brings with it what promises to be a great Premier League contest featuring two sides who have been doing well under their recent managerial appointments.

Arsenal will be further buoyed knowing that Alexandre Lacazette ended his two-month wait for a goal against Newcastle in their last home game and that 4-0 win certainly puts them in good stead here.

Both sides are in good form without being spectacular, but something will have to give at the Emirates this weekend.

John Barnes’ prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Everton

Liverpool v West Ham

Liverpool will be disappointed not to have taken anything from their Champions League last-16 outing to Atletico Madrid and will be looking to re-establish their winning ways in front of their home crowd.

The runaway league leaders host a Hammers side who are still flirting with the prospect of relegation, so this fixture is coming at a particularly unhelpful time for the London outfit.

West Ham’s wait for a win looks set to be prolonged here, as they were beaten by Manchester City in midweek, turning out a display that wasn’t exactly encouraging.

John Barnes’ prediction: Liverpool 3-0 West Ham

The Bonus Code Bets ambassador is expecting the Reds to record another convincing win
