The Premier League season is in full swing as we enter the seventh weekend of the campaign’s fixtures.
The table is beginning to take shape with Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Watford at the top. Huddersfield and Cardiff have been unlucky, languishing at the foot of the league.
This weekend heralds some appetising fixtures and who better to guide you through the best bets than two-time FA Cup winner and BonusCodeBets ambassador John Barnes – who’s given us his predictions to help you win big this weekend.
West Ham v Man Utd
The two teams involved here had very contrasting fortunes midweek. West Ham comfortably dispatching Macclesfield and Manchester United losing on penalties to Derby.
West Ham have started to grown into their season, with a well-earned point against Chelsea in the league and an 8-0 drubbing of Macclesfield in the midweek setting them up nicely for the weekend.
In contrast, United have stumbled slightly. Romelu Lukaku is in need of a goal for his confidence, and it should be a good battle at the London Stadium.
West Ham have plenty of talent in their squad, and if United have another off day, then the Hammers should get at least a point.
John Barnes’ tip: West Ham 1 Man Utd 1.
The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects West Ham to capitalise on Man United’s below-par form and take a point.
Chelsea v Liverpool
A battle between two unbeaten teams, and two very exciting teams at that. Chelsea got the better of Liverpool midweek, but I think that will change on Saturday.
Chelsea rely on Eden Hazard a lot in Maurizio Sarri’s system, and if he is marked out of the game they could struggle to find the breakthrough.
Liverpool have won every league game this season, and their defence looks excellent with Virgil Van Dijk marshalling the back four.
A close game, but Liverpool may just have enough to edge it.
John Barnes’ tip: Chelsea 0 Liverpool 1.
The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects Liverpool to maintain their 100% league record with a tight win at Stamford Bridge.
Cardiff v Burnley
Cardiff have been unlucky this season, but need to start picking up points quickly. This opportunity against Burnley could offer a chance, but the Clarets look revitalised after last week’s excellent performance.
After an inspired start by the Cardiff team, especially Neil Etheridge in goal, saving two penalties in the opening two games, they were thumped last weekend by Manchester City. They will be looking to bounce back.
It has all the hallmarks of a tight game, but ultimately Burnley’s Premier League experience should prevail.
John Barnes’ tip: Cardiff 0 Burnley 1.
The BonusCodeBets ambassador expects Burnley returning from bottom-placed Cardiff with all three points.
