Which players are earning the big bucks at Euro 2024? Who’s the English player making the most moolah at his club? Which Premier League star is the highest earning one at the Euros?
Well, our team has done the research and we have listed all the top earners at Euro 2024.
CR7 unsurprisingly is the top earner
Cristiano Ronaldo’s bumper move to Saudi Arabia made him one of the top earning professionals in the sport and the 39 year old holds that mantle at Euro 2024.
The Real Madrid icon is earning over £100 million due to his lucrative deal with Al-Nassr and dwarfs the contract that Kylian Mbappe was on at PSG.
Interestingly, an FC Barcelona player features in the top 10 - Robert Lewandowski. The top 10 is rounded up by his Real Madrid rival, Jude Bellingham.
Saudi Arabian League stars topping the earning charts
It’s not just Ronaldo but other Saudi Arabian league players who show up as the top earners.
The likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and N’Golo Kante are earning salaries higher than the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and more.
The financial might of Saudi Arabia will be on display in Germany.
Highest earning English stars
England captain Harry Kane is the top earning player from his country, pocketing a yearly salary higher than £20 million at Bayern Munich.
Jude Bellingham is the second highest paid Englishman with a yearly salary exceeding £20 million after including bonuses.
Bukayo Saka is third, having signed a new contract with Arsenal that sees him earn approximately £15 million a year after including bonuses.
Highest earning Premier League stars
When it comes to the Premier League, Kevin de Bruyne earns the most with an annual salary of approximately £20 million at Manchester City.
The second position goes to De Bruyne’s teammate, Bernardo Silva, who rakes in about £15 million from the Abu-Dhabi owned club. Following Silva is the aforementioned Saka and following him is another Arsenal player - Kai Havertz. The German’s contract sees him earning just under £15 million a year.
