How Does The Tote Promo Code Offer Compare?
When comparing Tote’s sign-up offer to other betting sites, they’re ahead of the majority, which will be pleasing to hear. They’re offering new customers £30 in free bets when they deposit and wager funds of just £10, which makes it a strong offer in terms of the free bets on offer. The likes of Paddy Power, Betfair, Coral, and Virgin Bet are just some of the other betting sites that offer £20 in free bets to their new customers, and so it’s good to see Tote ahead of some of the so-called ‘big names’ in the betting industry.
However, it’s not quite the finished article in terms of their sign-up offer, as Betfred and Unibet offer a larger bonus to their new customers, although it’s good to see Tote being on par with bet365 when it comes to their sign-up offer, as bet365 are one of the biggest betting sites in the business, so it’s a credit to Tote to be level with them on this front.

Tote Existing Customer Offers
Tote offers several promotions to both new and existing customers. You’ll find a full and updated list on the Tote promotions page which details all the information you need, including the terms and conditions attached to each promo.
Tote Guarantee is a promise to customers they will never be beaten on SP on win bets for horse racing. That means if you place a racing bet, Tote Guarantee gives you the complete peace of mind that comes with knowing you don’t need to shop around as the price you were given is the best you could have got.
Again, there are a few terms and conditions attached to Tote Guarantee you should be aware of. The dividend on the Tote betting may be bigger than SP and you’ll always get the bigger price. UK races only and the deal is capped at £500 max stake.
We’ll always pay at least SP on Win bets and if the Tote dividend is greater, we’ll pay out at that price. Tote.co.uk, Tote.ie, Tote App and selected UK and Irish racecourse customers only. Promotion applies to Tote win bets and the win part of each way bets on all UK & Irish races. Limits apply. Full terms and conditions available at Tote. 18+ BeGambleaware.org
Tote Ten to Follow
Think of fantasy football with horses and you have the Tote Ten to Follow. This unique game allows you to create your own stable, consisting of ten horses that will represent you throughout the season. Each stable you enter into the competition costs £5.00 – you can have as many stables as you want. T&Cs apply.
As your horses run throughout the season, they will earn points if they win or place. The quality of the race determines how many points are up for grabs.
- Grade 1: 25 points
- Grade 2: 20 points
- Grade 3: 15 points
- Listed races: 12 points
- Any other race: 10 points
Furthermore, there are 15 bonus races during the season that offer extra points, and of course, you get points based on the horse’s price for the race. So, it’s not simply about picking Tiger Roll for the National, you could potentially earn more points with an outsider in your stable that comes good.
So, how much can you win from the Tote Ten to Follow? All the entry fees are pooled with the winner at the end of the season galloping away with a 70% chunk of the Totepool. Second place gets 10%, and there are payouts all the way down to 100 on the leaderboard. Additionally, there are four monthly prizes of £10,000 each that you can pick up along the way.
A nice way to dip your toes in the water is by playing the Ten to Follow free game. This offers £10,000 to the season-long winner and £1,000 for each of the four monthly payouts. The same rules apply for both games. Check the table above to see if you need a Tote promo code and start building your stable.
As stated on Tote’s website, “All pools where Tote+ applies are denoted by the inclusion of the ‘tote+’ symbol. Available to customers who bet at Tote.co.uk or via the Tote app will now receive at least a 10% bigger payout on winning Tote bets than when playing through any other channel.”
Tote+ is only available on bets placed directly via tote.co.uk, tote.ie or the official tote app and on pools where the ‘tote+’ symbol is displayed on the race card. Only applied to dividends of 1.20 or above. Tote+ Win and Place bets will be settled at a value which is 10% bigger than the standard tote dividend. Bets into all other Tote+ pools will be settled at a value which is 5% bigger than the standard tote dividend. Full T&Cs apply. 18+. BeGambleaware.org.
Totepools: Scoop 6, Placepot and others
For only £2, the Tote Scoop 6 offers tremendous value to punters. All you have to do is pick the winners from the six selected races to collect your share of the Tote prize pool. However, landing six winners is no easy task, so there are often Scoop 6 rollovers, so the prize pools can become rather substantial. Don’t worry if you just miss out because there’s also a place pool if all of your six runners finished in the places. Pool winners then qualify for the following week’s Bonus Fund, and you get all this for £2.00.
Tote Jackpot is similar to Scoop 6. Here you must pick six winners from the first six races at a meeting chosen by the Tote. This also uses a pooled betting system with rollovers. The minimum stake for the Tote Jackpot is £1.00, which makes it very popular with all punters.
If you fancy something that is potentially a little easier, the Tote Placepot is the one for you. There are Placepots active for each of the day’s racecards, and just like with the Tote Jackpot, you must pick six horses from the first six races on the card that you think will place. These prize pools don’t grow as large as the other two, but they still offer good value we feel.
Tote Pick 6 is reserved for Irish racing. The concept is the same, however. You must select six winners from the listed races. The minimum stake to enter the Tote Pick 6 is £0.10 with the maximum being £10.00.
We had to contact Tote directly on their live chat for deposit information. They revealed that the only deposit options available in the UK are Visa Debit/Maestro/MasterCard Bank Cards.
Tote requires you to deposit a minimum of £10 through this payment option, which is a slight negative, as some bookmakers such as Sky Bet and bet365 allow you to deposit just £5 in one transaction. It’s disappointing to see that Tote doesn’t accept e-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill, or Neteller, as they’re great alternatives to use on a betting site if you prefer not to use your debit card.
|Master Card||1-2 days|
The withdrawal options with Tote are also limited and they only accept major debit cards. There is very limited information on the Tote FAQ but they state that withdrawals take three to five days. This can vary, depending on which bank you’re with.
The Withdrawal limit on Tote is £12k. As stated in their terms and conditions.
|Visa||3 -5 days||£10||£12,000|
|Master Card||3 – 5 days||£10||£12,000|
|Maestro||3 – 5 days||£10||£12,000|
Tote Credit allows you to place a bet that is free of charge, yet with all the functionality of real money being wagered on a bet. That results in real money pay-outs and no dividend deduction, which is great for Tote customers.
In the scenario that you want to place a bet that is a higher value than your eligible Tote Credit balance, you’ll be able to top up your bet with cash using your chosen payment method.
Tote Safer Gambling
The Tote website’s responsible gambling section is meticulously organized and offers a comprehensive range of information to assist players. It not only directs users to external resources that can provide assistance but also provides several useful tools within their platform. These tools include:
- Time-Outs: Users have the option to take a break from their gambling activities for a specific period. This feature allows individuals to step back and reassess their gambling habits.

To further encourage responsible gambling practices, Tote recommends implementing personal limits, regularly reviewing account history, and reaching out to their dedicated support service for additional assistance.
For a comprehensive resource on Tote’s responsible gambling initiatives, visit their dedicated page where you can find everything you need to know.
It’s difficult to compare Tote to other operators out there, as their competitors cover a considerable amount of depth within their sportsbook. However, they have a solid welcome offer that new customers can look forward to using with a relatively small qualifying deposit. There is also an impressive range of existing customer offers as well, which is pleasing to see, as some of their competitors don’t offer as much for existing customers later down the line after they’ve signed up.
One area for improvement is the depth of the payment options that they have available on their site, as Tote only allows you to deposit and withdraw through a Visa Debit/Mastercard/Maestro card, which limits their audience. Despite it being the most popular payment method to use on betting sites in the UK, they’re missing out on customers that use other options such as PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, or Apple Pay.
