Every week we bring you some top betting tips from our Brand Ambassador John Barnes.

With the Christmas period fast approaching, the Premier League is entering an important time for teams competing at both ends of the table. We asked Liverpool and England legend John Barnes to run the rule over this weekend’s matches, and give his predictions for the three biggest games.

Leicester vs Man City

It’s been a Premier League title defence to forget for Leicester, who are in real danger of being involved in an end-of-season relegation scrap. Manchester City, on the other hand, could be the side to take The Foxes crown come the end of the season under new manager Pep Guardiola.
Leicester picked up four points against City last season, including an impressive 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium, but can Claudio Ranieri’s men get their season back on track?

John Barnes Tip: The BonusCodeBets ambassador thinks Guardiola’s side will have too much for the lowly Foxes and should win 3-1. Despite the absence of Sergio Aguero, John is confident City’s attacking prowess will see them over the line, which is available at around 7/10.

Man Utd vs Tottenham

Arguably the game of the weekend between two of the Premier League’s big guns, with Manchester United aiming to get their title charge back on track against rivals Tottenham. Jose Mourinho hasn’t had the start he dreamed of at Old Trafford and after three draws on the bounce, they find themselves 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.

Tottenham have been beaten just once this season and find themselves challenging for Premier League honours again after being pipped to the post by Leicester during the last campaign. Harry Kane’s return has been welcomed with open arms by Mauricio Pochettino and the striker has four goals in his last three games in the Premier League.

John Barnes Tip: While Tottenham are a tough side to beat, Mourinho will have side fired up after a midweek Europa League win in tough conditions. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan finding top form, John is tipping United to get one over on their title rivals with a 2-1 victory, which is priced at 6/5.

Liverpool vs West Ham

Despite a setback last weekend against Bournemouth, Jurgen Klopp’s attack-minded Liverpool side are in with a real chance of Premier League glory this season. Prior to defeat on the south coast, the Reds had won four of their last five with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho – who is currently out injured – in red hot form. But for West Ham, it’s a completely different story, they haven’t won in five games and sit just once place and point above the relegation zone. Their move to the London Stadium hasn’t quite had the desired effect that was hoped for and The Hammers were thumped 5-1 by rivals Arsenal last weekend.

John Barnes Tip: Despite being without the influential Coutinho, Liverpool’s attack is one of the league’s most exciting and they face a side who haven’t kept a clean sheet in five matches. Klopp will be chomping at the bit to bounce back and John has predicted a 3-1 win for his former side, who you can back at 3/10.
